- The CD should auto run. If this is not the case, log to the CD ROM drive
- Run the program WINSETUP.EXE
- Select Windows 95/98 Client from the Zen Works Starter Pack and Clients screen
- Click on Yes to accept the licence conditions
- Select Custom from the Select An Installation Option screen

- Select IP only, IP with IPX Compatibility, IP AND IPX or IPX depending on the protocols that are to be supported

- Select NDS or Bindery from the Login Authenticator screen
- Click Next
- Select the components required from the Novell Client For Windows 95/98 Optional Components screen
- Click on the Install button

The client software is installed on the workstation. Entries in the registry are updated.
Any existing Novell Client software will be removed. Client files will be copied to the default C:\Novell directory on the local hard disk.
- At the end of the installation, click on the Reboot button to restart the machine to enable the new settings to be updated
The Novell client can be modified extensively.
When the client is installed under Windows 95/98, the parameter settings for the client may be modified by double-clicking on the network icon in the control panel.
- Select the Novell Netware Client component in the Configuration tab and click on the Properties button
- Click on the Advanced Settings tab in the Novell Netware Client Properties window
- Highlight a parameter that relates to the property that is to be amended
The range for the setting is displayed under the setting value window.
